Traditionally THET conferences have focused on the ‘health partnership’ community

You will learn how to make a greater more sustainable impact through your partnerships by sharing best practices and learning.

Day 1 – scale-up and sustainability

This year due to demand, THET will broaden the scope of the conference to look more generally at how people across the health services are engaging in development and humanitarian settings

You will be able to hear and discuss global health priorities with leading thinkers with an emphasis on exploring how UK aid is making a difference.

Orientate your own work in the wider context of the Global Goals for Sustainable Development

The day will also provide an insight into new and innovative funding streams.

Day 2 – asking how the UK is contributing to global health

You will learn ways in which as an individual or organisation you can become in global volunteering work.

Come and meet existing volunteers and explore how you can make a difference on a global scale.

Day 3 – new focus on new volunteers and partnership creation

  • Each of the days provides an opportunity for delegates to share, learn and network with colleagues and leading lights in global health.

  • You will leave the conference feeling fluent in the issues that matter as we work to deliver a world in which ‘no one is left behind’

UK Pharmacists - will you put your hand up?

Are you keen to share your pharmaceutical skills and expertise to create a better world?
Interested in how YOU can contribute to improve health and well being in resource-poor settings?

The Commonwealth Pharmacists Association (CPA) supports the profession to improve the health and well being of populations in lower middle-income countries throughout the Commonwealth.

As official collaborators with the Tropical Health Education Trust (THET) this year for their annual conference, we have united under a shared vision to see more pharmacists represented in Health Partnerships as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Join us on 25th Oct, day 3 of the THET conference to learn how you can make a difference and register your interest so that you help us develop our work or be the first to hear about opportunities to be involved! Registrations are filling fast:
