RPS-CPA COVID19 CPD resource initiative

We are excited to announce a collaboration between the CPA and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) to help disseminate COVID19 training resources for pharmacists and provide evidence for CPD portfolios.

The RPS has worked with UK expert groups to develop a range of clinical webinars to support pharmacists during the COVID-19 pandemic. All of the webinars follow a Q&A format focusing on practical tips and sharing good practice.

We are delighted to be working with the RPS to provide these webinars as a CPD package for CPA members. Once you register (for FREE) as a user on the RPS website, you can watch these recordings at any time and obtain a CPD certificate for your records via the links on the CPA website.

Webinars & Quizes

Victoria Rutter, Executive Director, CPA:

“This is an exciting and welcome development that reflects the ongoing and growing partnership between the CPA and the RPS. We thank the RPS, as one of our own member organisations, for their ongoing support and hope that the webinars prove a valuable resource for pharmacists around the Commonwealth and beyond, enabling them to upskill and enhance their own practice for the benefit of patients as they continue their essential work as key workers on the front line tackling COVID19.”

Sandra Gidley, President RPS and CPA Councilor, GB:

“I am delighted that we are able to share our COVID19 resources so that pharmacists around the world can benefit”

Claire Anderson, Chair English Pharmacy Board, RPS and Trustee, CPA:

“As a trustee of CPA and Chair of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society English Pharmacy Board I am delighted that RPS and CPA are collaborating on sharing COVID19 resources. Traffic to the RPS COVID19 website has doubled during the pandemic and the resources including the regular clinical webinars have been invaluable to many people.  I now hope many more colleagues around the globe will be able to benefit too.”
