Join the Commonwealth Pharmacists Association
A diverse, collaborative network of pharmacists and healthcare organisations
The Commonwealth Pharmacists Association
The Commonwealth Pharmacy Association (CPA) is the professional body for National Pharmacy Associations (NPAs) and pharmacists across the Commonwealth. When you become a member of the CPA, you are joining a global network of pharmacy professionals focussed on improving the lives and health outcomes of every Commonwealth citizen. Our goal is to raise the standards of pharmacy practice across the Commonwealth, recognising the unique challenges and opportunities in each member state.
We welcome membership from:
- Individual Pharmacists – who wish to become members of the CPA in Commonwealth or non-Commonwealth countries
- NPA – National Pharmacy Associations (NPAs) in a Commonwealth country
- Affiliates – Other Pharmacy organisations in Commonwealth countries (that are not the recognised NPA), including pharmacy educational institutions, regulatory authorities and pharmacy student associations
- Associates – NPAs of non-Commonwealth countries and health-related organisations such as professional, education, research organisations, or student organisations that share our values, in Commonwealth and Non-Commonwealth countries
Pharmacists, in any country are welcome to join the CPA. As a member, you'll enjoy exclusive benefits, including access to our online continuing professional development (CPD) platform with certificates of completion, MCPA post-nominal showcasing your commitment to the profession, and priority access to our news and events.
This membership is for the National Pharmacy Association (NPA) in a Commonwealth country, who would like to join us in strengthening the pharmacy profession. By collaborating with NPAs, we believe that we can make a significant impact on the growth and development of the pharmacy profession in the Commonwealth, and look forward to building productive and mutually beneficial partnerships.
Affiliate membership welcomes other Pharmacy organisations in a Commonwealth country. This includes pharmacy educational institutions, pharmacy regulatory authorities or specialist pharmacy associations such as pharmacy student associations. We also offer affiliate membership to any group of pharmacists who are working towards establishing an association in a Commonwealth country where no NPA currently exists.
Each membership category has a unique range of benefits, from representation on the CPA Council, access to our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) resources, to use of post nominals.
How much does it cost to join the CPA?
We believe that our annual membership fees are both affordable and of great value, as we are aiming to create long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships. To join as an NPA, Affiliate or Associate member, contact us and a member of our team will get back to you.
We welcome membership from Individual pharmacists who would like to join the CPA, for an annual fee of £20.
Are you a member of your National Pharmacy Association? You can access CPD courses for free if your NPA is part of the CPD Platform partnership.
