World Tuberculosis Day shines a spotlight on a disease that, despite being preventable and curable, continues to claim millions of lives each year.

The Commonwealth Pharmacists Association (CPA) stands in solidarity with the global “Yes! We Can End TB!” campaign – and we’re committed to turning words into action.

Pharmacists: Indispensable in the Fight Against TB

Tuberculosis remains a significant health threat, especially across the Commonwealth where devastating statistics remind us of the work ahead. The good news is that pharmacists have a vital role to play in combating this epidemic.

With their in-depth knowledge of medications and patient care, pharmacists are well-positioned to improve TB diagnosis, treatment, and patient outcomes.

That’s why the CPA is proud to announce the launch of a new continuing professional development (CPD) course: “Tuberculosis Management for Pharmacists.”

This course isn’t just about knowledge; it’s about empowering pharmacists to become change-agents in defeating TB.
