The Commonwealth encompasses some of the world’s poorest nations. Would you like to work for the Commonwealth Pharmacists Association (CPA) and help us improve the health and well being of some of the poorest nations in the Commonwealth?
Do you have experience as a Trusts and Grants fundraiser?
The CPA have been in existence since 1970 and recently attained charitable status. We support the development of safe and effective systems of medicines management, healthier lifestyles, and the reduction of health inequalities. We achieve this through building strong collaborative networks, partnering with member organisations to improve the quality of pharmacy practice through education and creating platforms for the dissemination of knowledge about pharmaceutical sciences and professional practice.
The CPA has a vacancy for a Trusts and Grants fundraiser and is looking for a proactive and experienced fundraiser to join our small team. This new role will be responsible for raising funds to support both existing and new projects. Amongst other things, the post holder will be responsible for raising funds to support our very important PharmAid scheme, which provides medicine information to Pharmacists working in the less resource-rich countries in the Commonwealth.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written communication and research skills, be proactive and have an analytical approach. Ideally the candidate will have previous experience in a fundraising role and an interest in both pharmacy and global health.
